Tara McPherson

Somewhere between the comic book world and pop illustration lies the works of Tara McPherson.  Needless to say, I am impressed.   The thing I like best about Tara's artwork is the stylization of her characters.  The full featured faces and smooth lines give a nicely polished, solid feel to each illustration.  Be sure to check out the great illustrations Tara created for musicians such as Beck, Mastodon, and The Melvins.

Mike Flinn

MondoGaga, Mike Flinn's cartoon featured in
Boise Weekly,  would be nationally syndicated
in a perfect world.  I went to Mike's website and
found that he is not only a terrific illustrator, but
a great painter as well.  Drop by and check him
out.  As soon as OSX Leopard arrives, you can
bet my first custom widget will be a real-time
update of MondoGaga.

Lala

Such beautiful work should never go unnoticed.  Please take a peek at either of these two sites and pass them on.  No-Growing  &  TranceOrange are the two ways of keeping in touch with the growing collection of great work Lala has to offer.

Joey D.

I try not to post links to Myspace pages, but it's the only way I can show you the great work of Joey D.  Check out his page, and urge him to make a new website

Secret Wall Tatoos

I stumbled upon this site today.  It features snapshots of secret art that is created behind stationary objects, where people seldom look.  You have to see it. This is one of the coolest ideas i've seen in a long time.  I am so tempted to do this everywhere I go.

Steve Frenkel

Today I popped up my dashboard and found a pleasant surprise.  The beautiful artwork of Steve Frenkel.  Expect to see his inspiration in my future works.
